Holly Boyd

Holly Lynn Boyd was born on Sept. 21, 1984 in Miami, Oklahoma. Her parents are Susan and Stephen Boyd. She is the oldest child of two, Jordan; her brother is seven years younger. She grew up on a large farm and dairy; however, she comes from the small town of Afton, Oklahoma. When she was four she moved to Huntsville, Arkansas and attended their public schools until seventh grade.

In June of 1996 her family moved back to Afton, Oklahoma where she graduated high school in May of 2002. She was very athletic and held many honors and awards. She was all state twice in the 300 hurdles and went two straight years undefeated. She was also a three time All-American Cheerleader and cheered in the Outback, Oahu and Aloha bowls, and the Pearl Harbor Basketball Tournament.

In August of 2002 she moved to Goodwell, Oklahoma to attend Oklahoma Panhandle State University. There she followed her passion for art as well as sports. Her first four years she cheered for OPSU. While she attend OPSU for six years, she only played softball for three years. Once she was done with sports she became more involved with the art department.

On May 17, 2008 she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with two options: Art and Computer Graphics. Her minors include Art History and Photography. She now resides in Pheonix, AZ and continues to experiment with different styles of art. She has developed a passion for jewelry, creating unique combinations from simple to complex pieces.
