Carol first embraced the art and craft of jewelry making over eight years ago. Since that time she has developed a unique organic style which features an array of gemstones, fine crystals and quality glass. The stones and crystals are set in a variety of fibers and metals which compliment and complete each design.
Each piece is a work of art, each piece is hand-crafted and quality artisan jewelry.
Recently, Carol has begun working more in Precious Metal Clay. PMC is a metal created in Japan that works and fires like modeling clay, allowing for hand-sculpted pieces which have the appearance of silver.
In 2002, Carol’s sister Chris Behne began designing and creating beaded jewelry.
Since then she self-taught herself any and every new technique she has come across moving from beading fever into the entire craft of jewelry making, creating the latest in fashion design jewelry. Her favorite medium has always been off-loom seed bead work as it satisfies her love and passion for beading and sewing at the same time.
Together, Carol Green and Chris Behne make up Ever Dream Silver Creations and Bejeweled by Chris and have traveled to arts and craft shows, art galleries and clothing stores to sell their unique hand-crafted jewelry for the past five years.
Carol embraces a business philosophy that emphasizes creativity and uniqueness to bring one-of-a-kind works of art to her customers and Chris will dive headfirst into the most complex projects without stopping until the piece is complete because she draws great satisfaction when it is worn and loved by the customers who choose to make one of these unique creations their own.
Recently, Chris and Carol have taken to a new blend of fashion to hit the scene. Drawing from the Edwardian and Victorian era and blending in modern clockworks and machinery, Steam Punk has become a genre in itself.
Chris’ and Carol’s new creations incorporate recycled watch parts and gears which are jeweled and set over elegant filigree. Each piece is very unique and holds something new to discover.
Charming and individual, this jewelry demands attention everywhere it is worn.
